Problems and delays in the construction industry arise from the fact that often times some details in the planning stages are ignored leaving the final decision to be made by a third party (usually a subcontractor) whose motivations almost always differ from those of the customer. Actions to prevent these scenarios are at the operating core of Bay State and are listed below.
- Bay State is a fully integrated organization, which means that all aspects of a single project, from design to completion, are handled under one roof. Thus, eliminating the possibility of communication inefficiencies that may occur if a single project were to be handled by several different firms on the way to completion. Simply put, if a framing subcontractor has a question about design drawings he has immediate access to the architect that prepared them.
- Prior to the start of a project the customer will have the opportunity to meet with one of Bay State’s project managers in order to discuss and outline the specific details of the project. These meetings are very comprehensive, as the goal is to dissect every segment of the project and determine the customer’s exact requests. Our Computer Aided Design (CAD) permits cost efficient and timely review of multiple design concepts with architectural drawings and associated budgetary construction estimates. These meetings result in the drafting of a straight forward, all-inclusive, and clear contract. Nothing is left up to potential misinterpretation by any party involved.
- Bay State professionals will help you every step of the way. Starting with the design concepts, our project managers guide you through each phase of the design/build process. Your approval is required at each step, before moving on to the next phase.
The fact that Bay State only associates itself with professionals, from subcontractors, suppliers, to its own employees, allows us to guarantee results at an agreed upon fixed priced. We have the utmost confidence in every dimension of our operation and our ability to preemptively identify difficulties. Thus, we guarantee a fixed price that will not be subject to increases after the start of the project. |
